Test Your Health Literacy

The Health Literacy Test will measure your ability to read common forms of medical information and to comprehend what you have read. It will measure the level of your medical vocabulary. It will measure your knowledge of anatomy/physiology, diet/nutrition, diseases/sicknesses, medical procedures, prescriptions/instructions, medical professions, healthcare system navigation, and sources of assistance. To save your results and keep them separate from the results of others who have taken the test, you must enter a user name in the text box below. Then click on the Submit button. You will have an opportunity to delete your results after you have reviewed them.

The test has been divided into 10 parts. You can take the test at your own rate, but we suggest that it not be spread over more than a few days. NOTE: Each day's results will appear in a separate report. To generate only one report you need to complete all 10 parts in one day. Save each part after you complete it.
